Arrived in Berlin late last night, well early this morning really, around one o'clock.
Berliners really don't like to cross the road when the red man is showing, but being English, and being one o'clock in the morning, we risked it.
A bus driver, waiting at the lights, started to beep his horn at us as soon as we started to cross the road, even though he hadn't actually started to move and then proceeded to shout at us in German.
Oh well, we got to our hotel safely, the Leonardo Royal just round the corner from Alexanderplatz and it all seems good so far.
